K-netizens React To Japanese Idol Group Doing Nazi Salute On Japanese Music Broadcast

Japanese group The Rampage from LDH agency is harshly criticized by Japanese netizens for their performance of the new title song “SOLDIER LOVE”. It was pointed out that the members did a gesture resembling the Nazi salute.

As the video of this performance spread widely in Korean online communities, netizens also pointed out that the lyrics of “SOLDIER LOVE” included Kamikaze, known as a part of the Japanese Special Attack Units of military aviators. Although that part was already removed from the broadcast version, netizens found it in the original version of the song.

Despite the controversy, The Rampage’s agency LDH made an excuse that the choreography was just a coincidence

In response, other netizens commented:

– So it was either that they didn’t study history properly or they ignored their own history…

– The choreography looked not cool at all. It’s pathetic~

– The group is doomed

– If any K-pop group does something like that, they would get criticized by overseas netizens and there would be tons of articles about them

– A dance that a criminal country can doㅋㅋㅋㅋ It suits them

– That’s crazy

– They’re from LDH… no wonder…
