Two years after its premiere, hit K-drama “Itaewon Class” tops Netflix Japan for the 1st time 

“Itaewon Class” led by Park Seo Joon and Kim Dami, took first place on Netflix Japan for the first time.

In Netflix Japan’s TOP 10 ranking on July 10th, JTBC’s drama “Itaewon Class” took first place for the first time in 2 years and 4 months since its premiere in 2020. 

“Itaewon Class” was consistently ranked in the TOP 10 after its release on Netflix in Japan, but it did not rank 1st place until recently because of “Crash Landing on You”, which became available at the same time.

“Itaewon Class”, starring actors Park Seo Joon, Kim Dami, Kwon Nara, and Ahn Bo Hyun, was first broadcast in January 2020. It tells the story of stubborn and courageous young people who start a business together in Itaewon.

The drama centers on Park Sae Royi (Park Seo Joon), a young man who jumps into the food service industry with one belief, and Jo Yi Seo (Kim Dami), a sociopath with a brain given by God.

Meanwhile, Kim Dami recently appeared in the movie “The Witch Part 2”, which was released in cinemas on June 15th. She is currently preparing for Netflix’s upcoming film “The Great Flood”.

Park Seo Joon’s next films include “Captain Marvel 2” and “Dream”. He will also appear in Disney Plus’s reality show “In the Soop: Friendcation” with Choi Woo Shik, Peakboy, Park Hyung Sik, and BTS’s V.
