In his acceptance speech, Jung Woo Sung said with a smile, “I am grateful to receive the Korean Association of Film Critics Award. Rookie director Kim Jung Ho told me that it wouldn’t have been possible without Jung Woo Sung. I want to acknowledge the rookie directors’ performance, but I was able to receive this award because there were other good actors and great staff like me, so I want to be thanked by rookie director Lee Jung Jae.”

He continued, “When I receive an award, I keep thinking about qualifications rather than joy. In particular, the Korean Association of Film Critics Award is an award that any Korean filmmaker wants to receive. The value of the award is meaningful.”

At the same time, he added, “I will throw off the meaning and weight of the award and devote myself to new challenges tomorrow and today without fear.”
