According to industry sources, Jung Eun-woo died on February 11. His funeral hall has been set up in Room 2 of the special funeral hall at New Korea Hospital. The funeral procession will take place on February 13 at 12 p.m., and he will be laid to rest at Byeokje Seunghwa Crematorium.
A graduate of Dongguk University’s Department of Theater and Film, Jung Eun-woo made his debut in 2006 through KBS’s youth drama “Sharp 3.” He gained recognition as the lead in SBS’s “Bride of the Sun” (2011), establishing himself as a rising actor.

He went on to appear in numerous dramas, including SBS’s “Five Fingers,” “A Well-Grown Daughter,” and “Strangers” (2012). His performances earned him the New Star Award at the 2012 SBS Drama Awards and the Special Acting Award in the Drama Special category at the 2013 SBS Drama Awards.
Jung Eun-woo also starred in SBS daily drama “The Return of Hwang Geum-bok” (2015) and played Wang Yi-ryuk in KBS2’s weekend drama “My Only One.” His most recent project was the 2021 film “Memory: Manipulated Murder.” The news of his passing has left fans and colleagues mourning the loss of a talented actor whose career spanned nearly two decades.
