Ji Chang Wook is returning to the small screen with a JTBC drama.
On June 19, JTBC officially announced its next project in the second half of 2023. The drama is called “Welcome to Samdalri” and stars Ji Chang Wook and Shin Hye Sun. The image confirmed the two stars of the series and raised anticipation with the hashtag “ComingsoonJTBC”.
Rumors of Ji Chang Wook and Shin Hye Sun’s collaboration started circulating in February and were confirmed after 4 long months. The audience is eager to see the kind of chemistry the two will bring to the drama.
Starring “Empress Ki” and “The K2”, Ji Chang Wook proves firm acting chops and boasts an irresistible attractiveness. On the other hand, Shin Hye Sun has been on a steady rise to fame with “My Golden Life”, “Still 17”, and, more recently, “Mr. Queen”.
“Welcome to Samdalri” is penned by Kwon Hye Joo and directed by Cha Young Hoon. It captures the dramatic fall of the those who were at the top of their games but lost everything due to a life-altering event.
