Ji Chang-wook tattooing his whole body in poster for new drama

KBS 2TV’s new Wednesday-Thursday drama “If You Wish Upon Me” revealed two teaser posters for the first time, raising curiosity about the drama.

KBS 2TV’s new Wednesday-Thursday drama “If You Wish Upon Me,” which will air for the first time on August 10, is a healing drama in which a precarious young man who is driven to the end of his life listens to people’s last wishes at a hospital and heals their pain. It is a work that was inspired by an actual foundation in the Netherlands, which fulfills the last wishes of terminal cancer patients.

On July 12th, “If You Wish Upon Me” released two teaser posters that showed the hot appearance of Ji Chang-wook (playing Yoon Gyeore), drawing attention from viewers.

Ji Chang-wook plays the role of Yoon Gyeo-re, who is barely enduring the present without motivation and will for life. Yoon Gyeo-re is a “broken adult-child” who has a habit of causing pain by tattooing his whole body.

The unveiled teaser poster seems to signal a transformation of Ji Chang-wook with a completely different atmosphere from the image of Ji Chang-wook we have seen so far. First, his arms full of tattoos catch the eye at once. Ji Chang-wook’s emotionless eyes and expressions suggest Yoon Gyeo-re’s tough life.

Ji Chang-wook, who holds a puppy tightly in his arms in another teaser poster, shows the feeling of loneliness, unlike the rough feeling of the poster earlier. Standing on the beach, he is staring at his crouching shoulders, making us more curious about the story of Yoon Gyeo-re, who turned his back on the world.

The production team of “If You Wish Upon Me” said, “Ji Chang-wook was completely immersed in the character of Yoon Gyeo-re, drawing admiration for his acting every moment on set.”

The two teaser posters raise expectations for the character that will be portrayed by Ji Chang-wook and the drama “If You Wish Upon Me.” The first episode will air at 9:50 p.m. on August 10th.
