Jeon Yeo-bin cast as female lead in movie “The Nuns”

Actress Jeon Yeo-bin has been cast as the female lead in the occult film “The Nuns” (directed by Kwon Hyuk-jae, produced by Zip Cinema)

Jeon Yeo-bin recently confirmed her participation in the film “The Nuns” and is preparing for the first shoot. Jeon Yeo-bin, along with the previously cast Song Hye-kyo, is expected to showcase a deep womance through “The Nuns”.

“The Nuns” is the female version of the movie “The Priests” (directed by Jang Jae-hyun), which was released in November 2015 and attracted 5.44 million viewers. While “The Priests” depicted the story of two priests delving into mysterious events to save a girl facing danger, “The Nuns” is anticipated to set itself apart by focusing on the story of the nuns engaged in exorcism.

Especially known for her remarkable acting in “After My Death” (2018, directed by Kim Ui-seok), Jeon Yeo-bin has built a distinctive filmography across various genres with outstanding characters, establishing herself as a popular actress in Chungmuro (Korean film industry). Meanwhile, the casting for the main and supporting roles of “The Nuns” has been completed. The film is scheduled to start filming in the first half of next year.
