Song Hye-kyo To Become A Nun In Her Comeback Film After 9 Years

Actress Song Hye-kyo will make a comeback on the big screen

According to Star News’s exclusive report on November 13th, Song Hye-kyo has confirmed her appearance in the movie “The Nuns”.

“The Nuns” is the female version of the 2015 movie “The Priests” starring Kim Yoon-seok and Kang Dong-won. As “The Priests” attracted 5.44 million viewers and became a box office hit, “The Nuns” is also expected to create a craze in theaters with Song Hye-kyo’s transformation into a nun. As such, this new movie project is drawing keen attention from movie fans.

In particular, Song Hye-kyo starred in Chinese movies “The Queens” (2014) and “The Crossing” (2016), but this is the first time in nine years that she decided to appear in a Korean movie after “My Brilliant Life”, which premiered in September 2014.

As Song Hye-kyo proved her “power” through Netflix’s hit original series “The Glory” in December last year, many people are looking forward to her new acting transformation in “The Nuns”.

Director Kwon Hyuk-jae, who was behind the success of “The Priests”, “Troubleshooter” and Count”, will be in charge of directing “Black Nun”. Zip Cinema will produce this movie.
