The media reported that Jennie signed a contract to purchase a high-end villa, Hannam La Terrasse in Hannam-dong, for 5 billion Korean won in cash in February 2021. After moving in July, she completed the change of residence, and the villa has a floor area of 74 square meters, a total area of 87 square meters, with 5 rooms and 3 bathrooms.
Hannam La Terrasse is famous as the villa that actor Lee Jong-suk owned until he moved to Nine One Hannam. Additionally, it is reported that Jennie lived in another luxury villa, The House, located near Hannam La Terrasse, before.
In February, Lisa headed to Seongbuk-dong, Seoul, which is a representative traditional upscale neighborhood in South Korea. According to real estate registration obtained by MoneyToday, Lisa purchased a house in Seongbuk-dong under her name for 750 million Korean won on January 30. The house is a detached house with a basement and two floors, built in April 2016. Lisa signed the contract in July of the previous year and completed the ownership transfer registration within six months.
Notably, the land of the house Lisa purchased is the same place that Jang Seon-yoon, the former Lotte New York Palace executive, and Yang Sung-wook, the Audi Korea executive, and his wife bought at auction for 2.051 billion won in 2014. Moreover, there is no record of a mortgage on the registration, suggesting that Lisa paid the entire amount in cash, and the current balance is fully settled.
BLACKPINK, the girl group to which Jennie and Lisa belong, is currently in negotiations for a renewed contract with their agency, YG Entertainment.
