Amid controversies over whether she will renew her contract with YG Entertainment, it was belatedly confirmed that BLACKPINK’s Jennie purchased luxury villa La Terrace Hannam located at the UN Village in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, for 5 billion won.
Particularly, on July 28, Jennie purchased a second-floor household underground in La Terrace Hannam for 5 billion won in cash and even completed her move-in papers. The villa bought by the singer is confirmed to have an area of 244.97㎡ and a supply area of 286㎡ with five rooms and three bathrooms. Before moving in, Jennie is known to have rented at another luxury villa, The House, located behind her new home.
It is confirmed that Jennie signed a contract to buy La Terrace Hannam in February 2021, two years and five months ago. Normally, on the day of signing a real estate sales contract, 10% of the sale price is paid as a down payment to the seller, and if the balance is paid in full within six months, the ownership is transferred to the buyer. In the case of Jennie, she paid 500 million won to the seller in February 2021 and paid the balance of 4.5 billion won two years and five months later, which is an unusually long period.
