Jennie showed her affection for Jisoo, BLACKPINK’s fandom “civil war” starts again, Lisa got mentioned out of nowhere
A “Civil War” is happening inside BLACKPINK’s fandom between the JenSoo and JenLisa shippers.
On Dec 15th, Jennie (BLACKPINK) uploaded a new vlog titled “Bakery Tour”. This is her first vlog after many months of leaving her personal Youtube account unattended, which is why it is immediately in the center of attention. The idol went to her favorite bakeries, and at the end of the video, Jisoo even appeared in the teaser for the next episode.
The JenSoo shippers cannot sit still after seeing Jennie and Jisoo in the teaser for Jennie’s next vlog. Jisoo will be the first BLACKPINK member to appear in Jennie’s vlog video. Before that, Jisoo is also the first member to appeared on Jennie’s Instagram. Fans are convinced that Jennie always prioritizes Jisoo and are excited seeing the close sisterhood between them.
However, the JenSoo shippers’ reactions have annoyed the JenLisa shippers. A fight has broken out between them to pick out “Who is Jennie’s closest BLACKPINK member.”
According to Jenlisa shippers, Lisa is the most “special” person in the group to Jennie. During the Vlog Bakery Tour, Jennie didn’t forget to choose Lisa’s favorite type of chocolate bread and sent them to YG studio so that Lisa could eat during dance practice. Jenlisa shippers also say that Jensoo’s interactions are just “fanservice” while Jenlisa is indeed each other’s “soulmate” in real life.
Responding to controversies from Jenlisa shippers, Jensoo‘s fans insisted if there were not a vlog between Jennie and Lisa, the only reason would be that the two are not really close in real life, not because of the agency.
These fans believe that Lisa is even closer to Jisoo than Jennie, and mocked Jenlisa shippers as “delusional people“. In recent years, Lisa and Jennie have had few direct interactions with each other and they have been entangled in discord rumors quite often. The moment Jennie bought Lisa a cake is considered a rare “flirting action” after nearly a year. If Jenlisa is “real” as these shippers claim, why are the two so distant from each other in front of the camera and rarely have natural interactions like with Jisoo?
