The brand had to amp up the production by 5 times to meet the demand. Jacquemus corduroy cropped top with dual section of matcha green and lilac also went out of stock thanks to Jennie. The square-line body-fit wool top was a hot item of summer 2020, proving the idol’s influence over the fashion trend of the youth. The cotton-blend mini dress was also sold out when Jennie wore it for a commercial for Spotify. While the body-tight dress similar to the Alyx disco dress can be found anywhere, because Jennie wore it, the people wanted it, leading to their escalating hotness and sold-out status in a short duration.
