“It wasn’t from the script,” The buzzword “Woo Young-woo” was actually made by Joo Hyun-young after much consideration
Actress Joo Hyun-young said she created the viral “Woo Young-woo’s greeting.”
Joo Hyun-young appeared as a guest on SBS Power FM’s “Park Ha-sun’s Cinetown,” which aired on July 20th.
Joo Hyun-young said she was the one who created the unique greeting that became a hot topic while talking about the ENA Wednesday-Thursday drama “Extraordinary Attorney Woo.”
She shared, “In the original script, it was something like ‘Dong Dong Geu-ra-mi’ and ‘Wooyoungwooyoungwoo’. However, the writer didn’t want to go like that, and I was worried because the writer wanted me to change it as I wanted,” she said.
“It was like homework. I wasn’t satisfied with the completed greeting at first, but when I showed it to Park Eun-bin and the writer, they loved it. I made the gesture with Park Eun-bin and completed the greeting,” she said.
The greeting that Joo Hyun-young mentioned is the hip-hop gestures they make when Woo Young-woo (Park Eun-bin) and Dong Geu-ra-mi (Ju Hyun-young) meet, calling each other “Woo to the Young to the Woo” and “Dong to the Geu to the Ra-mi.” As “Woo Young-woo” becomes a hot topic, this greeting method is also receiving a lot of attention.
Meanwhile, Joo Hyun-young is receiving a lot of love for her appearance as Dong Geu-ra-mi in the recent ENA Wednesday-Thursday drama “Extraordinary Attorney Woo”.
