Shin Ha-kyun and Han Ji-min met in “Yonder”.
On Oct 11th, the online press conference of TVING’s original series “Yonder” (written by Kim Jeong-hoon, Oh Seung-hyun, directed by Lee Jun-ik) was held. Director Lee Jun-ik, actors Shin Ha-kyun, Han Ji-min and Jung Jin-young attended the event.
“Yonder” is a story that happens when a man who receives a message from his dead wife is invited to “yonder”, an unknown space where he can meet her for the last time.
Even before its release, the work attracted attention for its spectacular cast lineup. Among them, what stands out is the meeting between Shin Ha-kyun and Han Ji-min. The two play Jae-hyun, a man invited to the world of his dead wife, and Jae-hyun’s wife Ye-hoo, respectively.
The two reunited after 19 years since MBC’s drama “Good Person” (2003). Shin Ha-kyun said, “It took a long time to meet (Han Ji-min) again. It was so great that I wondered if I waited to meet her now as I waited a long time.”
Han Ji-min also expressed her joy, “I really wanted to do (a work) with him again. We became a relationship where we could communicate much more.”
Earlier, Shin Ha-kyun and Han Ji-min attended the open talk of the 27th Busan International Film Festival held at the BIFFXGENESIS outdoor stage of Busan Cinema Center in Haeundae-gu, Busan on Oct 7th.
On this day, the two affectionately put their arms around each other’s shoulders, and laughter continued throughout. They drew attention by creating a friendly atmosphere and showing off their friendship.
Meanwhile, “Yonder” will be released for the first time at 4 PM on Oct 14th.
