Is Ahyeon’s Visual Strong Enough To Make Her BABYMONSTER’s Center?

YG Entertainment finally released the individual visual teaser photo of Ahyeon for BABYMONSTER’s first album

At midnight on March 15th, YG Entertainment released Ahyeon’s visual photo for the promotion of BABYMONSTER’s first mini album “BABYMONS7ER”. Acknowledged as the ace of the group, Ahyeon couldn’t participate in BABYMONSTER’s debut song and warm-up single “Stuck in the Middle” due to health issues. As she finally returns to the group and joins the comeback promotion, expectations for Ahyeon’s performance are rising.

Ever since before her debut, Ahyeon has already gained a lot of fans with her attractive chic vibe and distinctive facial features. Nicknamed “Jennie’s younger sister”, Ahyeon already proved her star quality and potential despite being a rookie idol. She exuded overwhelming charisma through her big and deep eyes in the close-up image and impressed viewers with her fashionable pose, superior body figure, and chic atmosphere in the zoom-out version. It seems that YG has prepared a concept that suits Ahyeon for her debut.

In addition to the choice of concept, Ahyeon has been introduced in a more special way through other teasers. She appeared at the end of BABYMONSTER’s visual film like a “hidden treasure”.

In addition, Ahyeon was also the only member to have her visual image released alone in BABYMONSTER’s promotion schedule so the spotlight was on her for the whole day. For the other 6 members, YG posted the visual images of two members at a time. Through the way YG is promoting Ahyeon, it is easy to understand their intention to make her the center member of BABYMONSTER.

While complimenting Ahyeon’s personal charms, some commented that her visual is not powerful enough for the center position. They pointed out that Ahyeon did not stand out when standing within the group, especially next to Rora, Ruka, and Rami.

Despite that, Ahyeon’s debut in BABYMONSTER’s album is still one of the highlights of this comeback. Fans are looking forward to a well-prepared promotion plan for the group from YG so that the members can fully showcase their talents on stage.
