“I don’t suffer postpartum depression but…” 39-year-old actress Jeon Hye Bin reveals unexpected symptoms she has after childbirth

MBC’s “Radio Star” broadcast on March 1st featured singer Kang Soo Ji, actress Jeon Hye Bin, makeup artist Jung Saem Mul, and singer-photographer Bbaek Ga as guests.

The MCs welcomed Jeon Hye Bin, who recently gave birth to her son, with warm congratulations. The actress couldn’t hold her happiness when saying, “My son is 4 months old now. He’s really pretty”.

When MC Kim Gu Ra asked, “Do you suffer postpartum depression?”, Jeon Hye Bin replied, “I don’t suffer any depression because I had a child late and already enjoyed myself enough before that. I felt happier”.

However, she revealed unexpected symptoms she had after giving birth. Jeon Hye Bin drew attention when she confessed, “I’m having severe postpartum hair loss. That’s why I always wear a hat when going out”, adding “Since I’m already old, my bones and joints hurt a lot after giving birth”.

She proudly said, “However, I’m still doing my best to raise the baby well because he’s very pretty”, adding “My son is really gentle. He doesn’t cry much so my neighbors don’t even know that I’m raising a baby at home”.

The actress continued, “Before my son was born, my husband kept reminding me that our lives are more important. He told me to not take profile pictures and reveal the baby’s face. I was very upset when he told me to not talk about our baby when I’m outside”. She added, “My husband is having a big problem now. He’s showing the pictures of our son to everyone he meets outside”, drawing laughter by revealing her husband’s reaction that changed completely after their son’s birth.

Jeon Hye Bin made her debut as a member of the girl group LUV in 2002. She later became a solo singer and then turned to acting. In particular, Jeon Hye Bin has appeared in various works, such as SBS’s “Witch Yoo Hee”, tvN’s “Another Oh Hae Young”, KBS2’s “Liver or Die”, “Revolutionary Sisters”, etc.

While carrying out acting activities, Jeon Hye Bin married a dentist, who is two years younger than her, in 2019. The two held their wedding in Bali, Indonesia, and invited only their parents, relatives, and close acquaintances. The actress gave birth to her son in October last year.
