Yoo Hee-yeol said, “Now the K-pop Grand Prize is gone, but there was a record in 2005, and the last singer to win all the grand prizes of all three major broadcasting companies at once is our Kim Jong-kook. That’s a great record. In addition, he was the only one who won awards at both the Entertainment Awards and the Music Awards,” drawing applause from the audience.

However, young kids these days don’t know that Kim Jong-kook is actually a singer, to which he said, “I actually understand it because they’ve never seen me sing in their lives, so it’s normal that they don’t know. I used to think that I would talk about this to be funny only, but now it’s real.”
