“I don’t have contact with G-Dragon” Kwanghee’s insight brought to light again

BIGBANG’s G-Dragon denied allegations of drug use. However, some people remain suspicious due to his recent actions, bringing attention to Kwanghee’s insight into selecting controversial individuals

On Oct 25th, the Incheon Metropolitan Police Agency’s Drug Crime Investigation Unit revealed that they booked G-Dragon on charges of violating the Narcotics Control Act.

Following this news, online communities revisited past videos that had raised suspicions about G-Dragon’s alleged drug use. In particular, a video of G-Dragon at Incheon International Airport, departing for the Chanel 2023/24 Cruise Show on May 8th, caught attention. In the video, G-Dragon appeared unsteady, unable to stand still for a moment, and exhibited repetitive actions such as taking off and putting on his hat.

These videos resurfaced, increasing doubts about the drug allegations surrounding G-Dragon. However, G-Dragon, through his lawyer, strongly denied any drug use, stating that he has no connection to the recent news reports regarding violations of the Narcotics Control Act.

Nonetheless, public opinion remains negative towards him. In this context, past statements by Hwang Kwanghee, who worked with G-Dragon on variety shows, gained attention.

When appearing on MBC’s “Infinite Challenge” with BIGBANG, Kwanghee commented on T.O.P’s eyes, “The look in his eyes is so weird.” On tvN’s “Amazing Saturday”, he stated that he does not have contact with G-Dragon and admitted that they do not get along. On another past broadcast, he made blunt remarks about Seungri, “He said he’d do business. I think he’s really out of his mind.”

While it’s understood that these statements were made for the sake of entertainment on variety programs, some people are expressing admiration for Hwang Kwanghee’s insight.

In particular, Kwanghee shared that he gets along well with Taeyang, Im Si-wan and Taecyeon, attracting more attention.
