The Billboard Music Awards are considered one of the top three music awards ceremonies in the United States, along with the American Music Awards and the Grammy Awards.

This year, unlike last year, four K-pop categories have been added, and most Korean artists are included in these categories. Jimin, NewJeans, and FIFTY FIFTY are the only ones nominated in non-K-pop categories.
