I didn’t know I’d cry at the acting of a puppy; The actors who shined in “Tomorrow”

In MBC’s “Tomorrow,” puppies also act.

Kang Seung-yoon, Lee No-ah, Jeon Moo-song, Min Jin-woong, Cha Hak-yeon, Kim Joon-kyung, and the passionate performances of dog actors are drawing attention as they increase the level of immersion in each episode.

MBC’s Friday-Saturday drama “Tomorrow” (directed by Kim Tae-yoon, Sung Chi-wook, scripted by Park Ran, Park Ja-kyung, Kim Yu-jin/produced by Super Moon Pictures, Studio N) is a human fantasy that takes place at an underworld office where the grim reaper who guided “the dead” now saves “the people who want to die.” Attention is focused on the acting skill of the actors who appeared as the main characters of each episode while providing empathy and healing to the audience by capturing the realistic stories of those who were driven to the brink of death in each episode.

Tomorrow

First of all, in the 4th and 5th episodes titled “Tree,” Kang Woo-jin (played by Kang Seung-yoon) and his wife Heo Na-young (played by Lee No-ah) promised love beyond life and death, and Kang Seung-yoon‘s emotional performance stood out among them. Kang Seung-yoon fully captured Kang Woo-jin’s guilt as he blames everyone’s death on himself when his wife died, following his parents and uncle’s family. In particular, Kang Seung-yoon‘s eyes, which shook as soon as he found out that his wife saved him, and his explosive emotional acting, heightened the immersion of his character.

In the sixth episode of “Soul Becomes a Star,” the achievement of Jeon Moo-song was revealed. Jeon Moo-song played Lee Young-cheon, a man of national merit in the Korean War who tried to make an extreme choice to end his life after living a life of regretting the day when he volunteered for the war many years ago. In response, he delivered the lifelong regret that the character had had, with deep eyes and a calm tone, leaving an echo. In addition, thanks to Wi Kwan-jeu (played by Kim Hee-sun), Jun-woong (played by Ro Woon), and Rong-gu (played by Yoon Ji-on), he left a heavier impression with his acting skills that captured the emotions of the character who finally realized the value of life.

Tomorrow

In the 9th episode of “One Day Because of You,” not only Cha Hak-yeon but also the puppy performed enthusiastically, making viewers cry. Cha Hak-yeon delicately expressed the complex emotions of Kongi’s owner Kim Hoon character by feeling longing and sorry for Kongi when his dog Kongi ran away from home and blaming himself for Kongi’s extreme choice. In particular, Cha Hak-yeon‘s voice, which seems to have tears in it, made the episode even more emotional.

Attention is also focused on the acting skill of Kong, a senior dog. While Kong worried that her death would be a sadness to her owner, she closed her eyes in her owner’s arms and shed tears while facing death.

Along with this, attention is also being paid to Min Jin-woong and Kim Joon-kyung‘s vicious villain acting. In the 8th episode “Broker,” Min Jin-woong performed enthusiastically as the broker Song Jin-ho, who encourages people to make extreme choices. In response, Min Jin-woong gave off an extremely dark and gloomy atmosphere when he was hiding his identity behind the nickname “Timid Man” in the beginning, but after revealing his identity, he suddenly changed 180 degrees into evil and mad expressions, causing goosebumps. In the 10th episode “Breath,” Kim Joon-kyung played the role of Tak Nam-il, a sexual offender, smiling as if he was ridiculing the victim and their family, portraying the inner side of Tak Nam-il’s character with his realistic acting.

In addition, all the actors such as Jo In (played by No Eun-bi), Kim Chae-eun (played by Kim Hye-won), Innoa (played by Heo Na-young), Ryu Sung-rok (played by Namgung Jae-soo), Han Hae-in (played by Shin Ye-na), Lee Ji-won (played by Cha Yoon-hee), and Gong Jae-hyun (played by Cha Yoon-jae) filled each episode.
