Webtoon “Cheese in the Trap: Newlywed” is drawing attention from many people as it released some snippets.
On April 12th, part of the first episode of “Cheese in the Trap: Newlywed” was introduced on Samsung Electronics Korea’s official Instagram. “Cheese in the Trap: Newlywed” depicts the story of Hong-seol and Yoo-jung’s daily life as a married couple.
Hongseol said, “I’m home. I was so tired today. The traffic was terrible too,” he said while entering the house where Yoo-jung was. Yoo-jung said warmly, “You’re tired, right?” and, “I made some canapes because you said you were coming.” Yoo-jung then asked Hong-seol to have a glass of wine with her.
Hong Seol, who originally wanted to have fried chicken and beer, was satisfied with the food full of Yoo-jung’s sincerity, saying, “Your skills have improved again.” Afterward, Hong-seol and Yoo-jung are shown putting their arms on each other’s waists while looking out the window together.
Hong-seol then asked, “Shall we eat fried chicken and beer at your house next time or should we come to my house?” and Yoo-jung said, “What? No,” she said, raising questions. Samsung Electronics Korea announced, “Please check out the following stories in the April issue of Bespoke Monthly.”
Meanwhile, “Cheese in the Trap” depicts the worries and conflicts in life of people in their early and mid-20s, focusing on the relationship between Hong-seol and Yoo-jung. It was published as a series from July 2010 to March 2017, and from December 2018 to December 2019. The webtoon gained huge popularity and was even remade into a drama and movie.
