Dancer Honey J revealed her heartbreaking family history.
Honey J appeared on Channel A’s “Dr. Oh’s Golden Clinic”, which aired on July 7th.
She got pregnant and married while she was active as a dancer, and recently gave birth to a daughter.
Honey J confessed that she is having difficulties in one-to-one interpersonal relationships, saying, “I don’t answer phone calls often.” Then she carefully revealed her family history. She said in tears, “My parents divorced when I was 8 years old. Because of this, even now as an adult, I always feel sensitive about being left behind and abandoned.“
Honey J confessed, “It wasn’t until I was 30 that I corresponded with my biological father. In the meantime, I got married. I couldn’t invite my dad to the wedding, and this is another wound.“
She shed tears, saying, “I wanted to go in holding my dad’s hand, but I couldn’t invite my dad for fear of hurting my mom.” Eventually, Honey J walked alone on Virgin Road.
Honey J said, “I feel guilty for hurting my dad again. As I grew up, I realized that I had always been longing for my dad. When I see my dad, I keep crying and avoiding him.”
She shared, “Not long ago, we had a video call for the first time, and he said he was sorry this whole time. My dad said he’d protect me, but I couldn’t even invite him to my wedding.”
