Alexander Wang is often known for their provocation and bold styles, with CL as a notable wearer. The singer and rapper chose outfits from the brand for the 2021 Met Gala while HyunA made a daring choice to wear a denim cut-out for her M/V “I’m Not Cool.” Jennie also joined the trend and even wore Alexander Wang’s items in her home.

To develop themselves, brands make the choice of releasing limited items with careful and thorough investment in a singular image for an important event. For example, Mugler customized their outfits to be a perfect fit for each of BLACKPINK members in their release for “PINK VENOM.”
