On the other hand, there were also supportive comments like, “If it’s expensive, just don’t buy it. For people like me who didn’t know such a product existed, it’s good to know,” “I thought it was incredibly cheap, but it’s the opposite,” “The price is very reasonable. What else can you get at this price?”

Previously, Kim Jong-kook faced a similar controversy. Kim Jong-kook recently revealed the sale of a 40,000 won ($29) T-shirt with a post saying, “I made this shirt to reduce the dilemma of buying clothes. It’s just a shirt made according to my usual sensibilities, comfortable to wear.”

Afterwards, there was controversy when he stated in a video that the T-shirt was not expensive. In response, Kim Jong-kook apologized, “I made it with care, and I’m quite particular about fabrics when I wear clothes. I also considered the price reasonably through various inquiries. If the expression ‘not expensive’ used in the video was misunderstood as not considering objective factors, I apologize. Since I’m not well-versed in this field, I hope you can understand.”

Subsequently, the T-shirts sold out, and Kim Jong-kook announced that he would donate all the proceeds.
