Han Ah-reum, who got pregnant after conflicts with her husband, discuss the challenges of acting after childbirth

Former T-ARA member and actress Han Ah-reum answered fans’ questions in her latest YouTube video.

On July 21st, Han Ah-reum, actress and former member of Kpop girl group T-ARA, published a video titled “1000 subscribers Q&A session / Love Story / Comeback Plan / My New dream / Morning Sickness/ Favorite Singer / Favorite food!” on her YouTube channel.

In particular, when asked about her morning sickness, Han Ah-reum said, “It is not an exaggeration to say that I found out that I had a second child because of morning sickness. During my first pregnancy, I had an eating crave, but the 2nd time was hard due to severe morning sickness. Fortunately, it has improved a lot after the first 16 weeks. Thanks to morning sickness, however, I don’t seem to be gaining as much weight as I did in my first pregnancy.”

She then shared about her eating habits while pregnant, saying that she avoids eating late at night and tends to have an empty stomach the next day.

“Even if I eat a lot, I don’t gain too much weight. I’m putting on weight little by little”, the idol-actress said.  When asked if she has any plans to comeback as an idol, Han Ah-reum answered: “I have no intention of returning as a singer. But because I love singing so much, I had fun appearing in ‘Tomorrow is a national singer’. I simply want to sing and don’t want to work as an idol again. For now, it will remain a good memory. Though if there’s an opportunity, I will consider it, I don’t know about the future.”

She continued, “I met the groom while preparing to become an actress. I acted in high school and received training. There’s joy in acting. I think it’s a good job because I can feel various jobs in it. I believe that people have no limits. As much as I can, I’ll do my best to take care of myself after giving birth and try acting. I’m going to run on my own until then.”

Meanwhile, Han Ah-reum joined girl group T-ara in 2012 and withdrew from the team in 2013 due to health reasons. She later appeared on KBS2’s “Idol Rebooting Project – The Unit” in 2017.

Han Ah-reum announced her premarital pregnancy in 2019 and put the wedding ceremony forward in October that year. However, she recently appeared on TVING’s original entertainment program “Between Marriage and Divorce” and drew attention by confessing that she and her husband are going through a divorce crisis.
