According to entertainment industry sources, Gong Yoo‘s father passed away on February 5 at the age of 78.
Gong Yoo, who is mourning the loss of his father, is currently receiving condolences at Seoul Asan Hospital.
The funeral procession for the deceased will take place on February 8 at 5:20 a.m (KST), and the burial will be at the Sian Family Memorial Park.
Meanwhile, Gong Yoo has appeared in dramas and films such as “Seo Bok”, “Kim Ji-young: Born 1982”, “Train to Busan”, and “Goblin”, and is currently considering his next project.
He is also expected to return to the small screen soon through the 2nd Season of Netflix’s hit K-drama “Squid Game”.
