(G)I-DLE’s Shuhua, Go Min-si, LE SSERAFIM And More: Entertainmen Industry On Red Alert With Type A Flu

Amid the spread of type A flu, the entertainment industry is also on alert due to type A flu

On December 15, Cube Entertainment, the agency of (G)I-DLE, announced that Shuhua went to the emergency room early in the morning with mild fever and cold symptoms and was confirmed to have type A flu.

The agency said, “Shuhua has suspended all scheduled anctivities and is getting enough rest and stability based on the advices of medical staff. Since the disease is contagious and dangerous, the group’s pre-recorded performance for the 2023 Music Bank Global Festival, which was scheduled today, was inevitably canceled for the safety of artists and fans.”

Go Min-si, who was scheduled to participate in a photo wall event for a fashion brand on December 15th, was also absent due to type A flu. The event’s agency asked for understanding, saying, “The photo wall event for actress Go Min-si, which was scheduled at 11 a.m. today, was inevitably canceled due to the confirmed case of Go Min-si’s type A flu.”

KISS OF LIFE’s Natty and Bell are also taking a break after being diagnosed with type A flu. On the 15th, the agency S2 Entertainment said on its official website, “Natty visited the hospital on the morning of the 12th because she had cold symptoms on the night of the 11th, and was confirmed to have type A flu. Therefore, she is taking a rest after canceling and postponing her schedule today.”

“After taking a break on the afternoon of the 14th due to poor condition, Bell visited the hospital on the morning of the 15th due to cold symptoms and was confirmed to have the flu A, so she is currently taking a break,” the agency added. The agency said Natty is recovering quickly, and Bell is in quarantine to prevent the spread of infection.

On December 11th, Gray revealed his visit to the hospital with type A flu. Gray posted a thermometer showing 39.1 degree on his social media, saying, “Goosebumps of the year. Be careful of the flu. And I hope you get vaccinated and don’t suffer like me.”
