“Gangnam Drunk Driving” Kim Sae-ron and her passenger are sent to the prosecution, license cancellation level

Actress Kim Sae-ron (21), who was caught drunk driving in Gangnam-gu, Seoul last month, has been handed over to the prosecution.

According to the police on Jun 29th, the Gangnam Police Station in Seoul has sent Kim, who is suspected of drunk driving and neglecting after an accident, and A, the passenger who is suspected of aiding and abetting drunk driving, to the prosecution without detention.

Kim is suspected of running away after hitting a transformer unit and a street tree while driving in Cheongdam-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, at around 8 a.m. on May 18th.

At the time, Kim was caught by the police who were dispatched after receiving a report that “there was a car that went off-road,” and got tested positive for alcohol. She then refused to measure her blood alcohol concentration, so he returned home after receiving a blood test.

According to the results of the blood collection test the police received from the National Forensic Service last month, Kim’s blood alcohol concentration exceeded 0.08%, which surpasses the level of license cancellation.
