HYBE Label’s artists continue their momentum in the second half of the year.

Starting with LE SSERAFIM, who made their splendid debut in May, TOMORROW X TOGETHER, SEVENTEEN, Dvwn, fromis_9 and BTS released their new albums one after another, while ENHYPEN will take over the “HYBE Comeback Rush” baton with their new album on July 4th.

HYBE Label artists showed off their explosive power to the point where they broke a career-high every time they released a new album in the first half of this year. According to Hanteo Chart, Korea’s largest album sales site, the proportion of albums sold by HYBE Label artists reached 50% of the albums ranked on the album chart in May. In particular, a total of 3,738,753 copies of SEVENTEEN, TOMORROW X TOGETHER and LE SSERAFIM were sold.

In both the album chart and the retail album chart, BTS’s new album “Proof” topped the list, while SEVENTEEN’s fourth full album “Face the Sun” ranked fourth. “That That,” which BTS Suga collaborated with Psy, maintained on the top of streaming charts and digital charts. LE SSERAFIM’s debut album and title song of the same name, “FEARLESS,” was ranked 8th on the streaming chart and 9th on the digital chart, respectively. On the download chart, four BTS songs, including “Yet To Come,” and SEVENTEEN’s “HOT,” ranked in the top 10.

If you look at the sales performance of each group, you will immediately realize what is called the “HYBE Power”. BTS “Proof” sold a total of 2,752,496 copies during the first week of its release, and the album was so popular that it went straight to the top of Japan’s Oricon “Daily Album Ranking.” In addition, “Yet To Come” proved BTS to be a “21st-century Pop Icon” by ranking first on Melon’s “Top 100” in an hour after its release and third on Spotify’s “Daily Top Song Global” chart (as of June 10th).

On the first day of the release of “Face the Sun,” SEVENTEEN achieved a million-seller badge at once and broke their own record with 2,067,769 copies sold in the first week after its release. With this album, SEVENTEEN ranked 7th on the U.S. Billboard’s main album chart “Billboard 200” and also broke their own highest ranking, showing how hot they are as a group. “Face the Sun” swept domestic and international charts including Gaon Chart’s monthly album chart in May, retail store chart, and Oricon’s “Weekly Album Ranking.”

TOMORROW X TOGETHER has made a leap forward with their fourth mini-album ‘minisode 2: Thursday’s Child’. With the album, they achieved their fastest “million-seller” in their first week of release, and became the first overseas artist to have six albums in the Oricon Weekly Album Ranking. “minisode 2: Thursday’s Child” has remained at the top for four consecutive weeks after entering the fourth place on “Billboard 200,” which is TOMORROW X TOGETHER’s own best performance.

LE SSERAFIM, who opened the spectacular stage of “HYBE Comeback Rush,” showed how they are a team with a different class as soon as they debuted. LE SSERAFIM became the first team to record more than 300,000 copies sold for a debut album, specifically an initial sale of 307,450 copies with their first mini-album “FEARLESS.” The debut song of the same name, “FEARLESS,” has been in a remarkable run for six consecutive weeks, settling at No. 10 on the Melon weekly chart and charting in “Billboard Global 200.”
