Former April member Lee Naeun signed exclusive contract with Namoo Actors

After a long hiatus following her bullying scandal, idol-actress Lee Naeun will join the same company with Lee Jun Ki and Song Kang

On June 2nd, talent agency Namoo Actors confirmed via a phone call with Herald POP that they signed an exclusive contract with former April member Lee Naeun

Earlier in January, Lee Naeun suspended her activities with Kpop girl group April. The group’s agency, DSP Media, said: “After a long discussion and consideration, we and the members decided to disband the team and walk their own paths.”

In April 2022, rumors that Lee Naeun would join Namoo Actors started to circulate. At the time, the company simply replied: “We had a meeting with Lee Naeun, but nothing has been decided as of the moment.”

Lee Naeun previously debuted in 2015 under the Kpop group April, and gained popularity after starring in the famous web-drama “A-TEEN” and the MBC series “Extraordinary You”. The idol-actress was supposed to appear in hit K-drama “Taxi Driver”, but dropped out after her group April was accused of ostracizing and bullying former member Hyunjoo.
