Former AB6IX member Lim Young-min left a handwritten apology for his drunk driving incident in the past right after getting discharged from the military

Lim Young-min, a former member of the boy group AB6IX, apologized once again for his drunk driving incident in the past.

Lim Young-min posted a handwritten letter on the official SNS account of his agency Brand New Music on May 3rd.

He said, “One year and 6 months went by neither slow nor fast and I have just been discharged from the military as of May 2nd, 2022”, adding, “During my military service period, I spent quite a lot of time reflecting on myself. I realized so many things after thinking about how lacking I was as well as how much damage and pain I had caused to others with my one mistake”.

He continued, “Once again, I sincerely apologize to people who were damaged and hurt by me. And I also want to say sorry and thank you to the people who have waited for me. From now on, I will think carefully before doing anything”.

Earlier in May 2020, Lim Young-min was caught by the police while driving his own car to the dorm after drinking with acquaintances. His driver’s license was also canceled due to drunk driving. He later left AB6IX and enlisted in the military in November of that year.

Hello. This is Lim Young-min.

One year and 6 months went by neither slow nor fast and I have just been discharged from the military as of May 2nd, 2022

Thank you to everyone who has been waiting for me and supporting me so that I could endure my military life. 

The time I spent in the military was so valuable since I was able to meet good seniors colleagues, juniors, comrades, and people. I received a lot of help and learned many things.

During my military service period, I spent quite a lot of time reflecting on myself. I realized so many things after thinking about how lacking I was as well as how much damage and pain I had caused to others with my one mistake.

Once again, I sincerely apologize to people who were damaged and hurt by me. 

And I also want to say sorry and thank you to the people who have waited for me. 

From now on, I will think carefully before doing anything.

I will work harder every day to become a better person and make sure to greet you all with a good appearance.
