Fashion Showdown: Best Dressed – Go Yoon-jung and Kim Yoo-jung vs. Worst Dressed – Park So-dam and Kim Ye-won

“Y Ranking” is where YTN Entertainment reporters check the fashion sense of stars revealed in various entertainment scenes throughout the week. This week, as the best dressers who showcased their charms, Go Yoon-jung and Kim Yoo-jung were selected. Unfortunately, as the worst dressers who drew sighs with their regrettable fashion sense, Park So-dam and Kim Ye-won were chosen.

◆ Best – Go Yoon-jung

Kang Nae-ri Reporter: She chose elegant and sophisticated outfits that suit her image well. As the attire is flashy, it was wise to complete the look with relatively neat and classic hairstyles and shoes.

Gong Young-joo Reporter: Feels like it’s ‘Go Yoon-jung’s color.’ She embodied the elegance of tweed in a classic way with her own enchanting atmosphere.

Kim Sung-hyun Reporter: Go Yoon-jung is emerging as everyone’s favorite. Elegant yet never old-fashioned, she succeeded in highlighting her charm with just one dress that perfectly fits her. Although it might seem ordinary, the unique pattern, button decorations, and small details throughout escape monotony.

Oh Ji-won Reporter: It’s not easy to pull off tweed in a refreshing way, but Go Yoon-jung did it. The hairstyle that clearly reveals the neckline and the choice of cool-looking jewelry complemented the outfit well.

◆ Best – Kim Yoo-jung

Kang Nae-ri Reporter: Despite the high difficulty of the potentially outdated ‘blue-on-blue look,’ Kim Yoo-jung well digested it with her refreshing charm. Even the casually worn crossbody bag serves as a great accessory.

Gong Young-joo Reporter: It’s the ‘blue-on-blue fashion,’ a symbol of youth, but not everyone can pull it off. Kim Yoo-jung did it perfectly, creating a flawless outfit without a hint of awkwardness.

Kim Sung-hyun Reporter: Kim Yoo-jung’s airport fashion, a bible for ‘blue-on-blue’ fashion. While celebrities’ airport fashion always gathers attention, Kim Yoo-jung proved to be attractive with a comfortable yet natural fashion. Her lively and fresh personality added a pleasant synergy to the overall look.

Oh Ji-won Reporter: Styling that brightens the surroundings. White sneakers with blue-on-blue fashion represent youth itself and harmonize well with the slightly chilly weather on that ordinary weekday.

◆ Worst – Park So-dam

Kang Nae-ri Reporter: It looks uncomfortable as if wearing someone else’s outerwear. The sheer dress alone could have been a striking point, but adding an oversized jacket that seems difficult to control makes it messy and distracting.

Gong Young-joo Reporter: Unless that fabric is accidentally picked up and carried around, what on earth is that? It’s an unidentified black fabric that induces the viewer’s pupils to dilate.

Kim Sung-hyun Reporter: Fashion that makes you tilt your head. The fabric decoration with an unclear identity, purpose, and intention is downright confusing. The overly long and wide sleeves, coupled with the mysterious fabric embellishment, make for a cluttered and unattractive coordination.

Oh Ji-won Reporter: It’s puzzling. I can’t figure out the intention behind combining excessively long and wide clothing sleeves with an unknown fabric decoration.

◆ Worst – Kim Ye-won

Kang Nae-ri Reporter: The unique cutting of the skirt, combined with the boots, gives an excessive feel.

Gong Young-joo Reporter: Expression of individuality is good, but it seems to have crossed a line. It would have been fine with just a simple denim skirt, but why…

Kim Sung-hyun Reporter: The asymmetrically cut denim skirt is eye-catching enough, but capturing attention doesn’t necessarily mean ‘good fashion.’ The ambiguous height and design of the boots are also negative points. Suddenly, the teddy bear doll hanging on the bag looks out of place.

Oh Ji-won Reporter: Unique cutting is a powerful weapon in the world of fashion, but digesting that cutting design well is another challenge. However, I can’t think of a solution for how to match this skirt in a good way.
