Famous Actor Shares Driving Force To Star In 4 Productions This Year Alone

Actor Seol Kyung-gu revealed the goal that he wants to achieve through the movie “The Boys.”

Seol Kyung-gu reportedly appeared in the interview section of JTBC’s program “News Room,” which aired on November 4th.

Seol Kyung-gu has starred in 4 productions this year alone, including the recently released film “The Boys.” The actor cited “curiousness on set” as the driving force of him starring in so many movies. Seol Kyung-gu said, “It makes me find new things and study. It is both a scary and stressful. That gives me the desire to challenge myself.”

Regarding the storyline of “The Boys,” Seol Kyung-gu explained, “Some teenage boys were falsely accused and even imprisoned. They got to go through a retrial later. The irony is that the victim’s family asked for a retrial.” At the same time, he emphasized, “It was based on a real story.”

“I don’t like ad-libs very much,” Seol Kyung-gu said. “In our movie, Heo Seong-tae did ad-libs as much as he wanted. He said he got to play a good role for the first time, and he really liked it,” referring to the behind-the-scenes of the movie.

Meanwhile, Heo Seong-tae reportedly shed tears after receiving a chair from Seol Kyung-gu. Seol Kyung-gu expressed his affection, saying, “I was grateful.”
