EXO member Xiumin will return to the music industry with his first solo album

According an article from News 1, which was published on August 18th, EXO member Xiumin will release his first solo album since debut in September

In the past, Xiumin has released solo songs through the 2019 SM Station project “You”, as well as participated in various K-drama OSTs, including the 2015 track “You Are The One” for “Falling for Challenge”, and the 2021 track “To My One And Only You” for “Mr. Queen”. However, this is the first time Xiumin officially released a solo album.

This news marks Xiumin as the 7th member in EXO to go solo, following Baekhyun, Chen, Suho, Lay, Kai, and D.O.

Since his debut in 2012, Xiumin has received a lot of love for his various charms by actively going back and forth between group activities as EXO and unit schedules as EXO-CBX. Now, as Xiumin embarks on a new journey, attention is being paid to what kind of music and stage the male idol will present through his first solo album, especially as he celebrates his 10th anniversary this year.

Xiumin has gained huge popularity as a member of the famous group EXO, who performed various hit songs such as “Growl”, “Call Me Baby”, “Kokobop”, “Love Shot”, and many more. After being discharged from the military in December 2020, the male idol has continued his activities by appearing in various entertainment programs.
