Ex-schoolmate of LE SSERAFIM’s Kim Garam claimed she did hang out in an iljin group, but she wasn’t a bully 

An alleged schoolmate of LE SSERAFIM’s Kim Garam defended her in a now-deleted online community post. 

Recently, a netizen who claimed they went to the same middle school as LE SSERAFIM’s Kim Garam shared a post on the online community Pann to clarify the female idol’s bullying accusations. OP denied the rumors of Kim Garam committing school violence. However, in the comments, other Korean netizens all refused to believe OP and said this was probably another post written by a HYBE/Source Music employee in disguise to defend Kim Garam. Currently, the post has been taken down. 

The original post reads as follows: 

“I was in the same grade as LE SSERAFIM’s Kim Garam but we were not very close… We used to go to the movies together… but we were nowhere near best friends ㅋㅋㅋ But Kim Garam was so popular at our school that other students talked about her all the time. 

Kim Garam was indeed the “celeb” of our grade… She was even popular among senior students when she first transferred to our school. On the first day of school, rumors about her pretty looks spread everywhere from the senior grades. So in the cafeteria, while Garam was eating with her friends, there were older girls who passed by her table just to see what Garam looked like.

But in the photo where she was wearing the school uniform, Garam wasn’t smoking, because math teachers were in the break room right next to the wall where Garam was allegedly holding a cigarette ㅋㅋㅋ So realistically speaking, how could Garam smoke… Also, the girl who got into a fight with Garam spread the rumor that Garam was forced to transfer for throwing a brick and a flower pot at her ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ That girl even claimed Kim Garam came to her house, peed in front of the door, and ran away ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ She lied about it and got caught, when we were volunteering, she was called out by the teacher and had to say sorry to Kim Garam right at the park ㅋㅋㅋㅋ

The school bullying rumor is the funniest… It was just a fight between them. That kid who claimed to be the victim, she spread a half-naked photo of Kim Garam’s friend on Facebook, so that friend couldn’t even eat lunch or leave the classroom during breaks. That’s why Kim Garam and her friends argued with her. At the time, the situation was very tense, that “victim” said that she would use her connections and called the kids from the sports club at our neighboring school to teach Kim Garam a lesson. The rumor about this fight also spread. That’s why it’s funny that she said Kim Garam committed school violence.

The person in the pictures posted on Facebook is the real Kim Garam. She was in her 1st year of middle school at the time. She had bangs and hair extensions. But regarding her uniforms, all the kids in our district went to mid-range schools, so they all cut their skirts short. Seriously, naughty kids didn’t even wear uniforms.

By the way, Kim Garam’s group of friends was also quite famous. Her friends seemed to consist more of senior students than the iljin ones. They only cared about themselves. They had fights within themselves a lot. In general, they did not pay much attention to the kids around them but only fought with each other.

Kim Garam had an iljin makeup style when she was in her 1st year, but in her 2nd year, she gave up on it and lived a very quiet life.
