Famous Korean actress Han Ji Min was born in 1982. She became a familiar face to the audience thanks to her roles in famous K-dramas such as “Dae Jang Geum”, “Rooftop Prince”, “Hyde Jekyll, Me”, “The Light In Your Eyes”, “One Spring Night”, and more.

Han Ji Min was raised by her grandparents as her parents were both busy with work when she was young. She also has a 2-years-older sister named Han Sang Min.
Originally, Han Ji Min dreamed to become a doctor as she wanted to be able to treat her grandmother who was sick at the time. She later wanted to become a kindergarten teacher or a social worker.

The actress was famous for her appearance since elementary school, and due to her good academic achievements and leadership skills, assumed various executive positions in class, such as class president and vice president.
Career
Han Ji Min started out in the industry through different CFs and MVs before receiving wider attention as a drama actress with supporting roles in the successful TV series “All In”, “Dae Jang Geum”, and “Good Person” in 2003. Her lovely visuals and natural acting helped Han Ji Min capture the viewers’ hearts.
In 2005, with the female lead role in the revenge drama “Resurrection”, Han Ji Min had the first big break in her acting career. 2 years later, she once again made a strong impression with her excellent portrayal of a concubine in the historical drama “Lee San, Wind in the Palace”, which brought her the Excellence Award for an actress at the 2007 MBC Drama Awards.
The period from 2011 to 2017 is considered the peak of Han Ji Min’s on-screen versatility. She continuously took on diverse roles in dramas and movies namely “Padam Padam”, “Rooftop Prince”, “The Plan Man”, “The Age of Shadows”, and so on

Personal life
On August 8, 2024, it was reported that Han Ji Min started dating Jannabi’s Choi Jung Hoon after meeting on the music talk show “The Seasons – Choi Jung Hoon’s Night Park”, where the couple performed 2 songs as a duet.
Their relationship began in August last year. At the time, Han Ji Min expressed her admiration for Choi Jung Hoon and revealed that she had attended Jannabi’s concert.

Born in 1982, Han Ji Min is 10 years older than Choi Jung Hoon, who was born in 1992. Despite their age difference, the two have overcome it to develop a romantic relationship, which is likely to draw significant attention.
