British pop star Ed Sheeran will perform at “2021 MAMA”.
At the “2021 MAMA” global press conference held at The Westin Josun Seoul in Sogong-ro, Jung-gu, Seoul on the morning of Nov 16, CP Park Chan-wook revealed a special stage prepared for this awards ceremony.
CP Park said, “This year’s MAMA will feature a 4th generation idol collaboration stage, a special stage for all crews of ‘Street Woman Fighter’ and a stage for Wanna One.” Then he added, “Foreign artist Ed Sheeran will also join us. He is preparing a new stage only for the show.”
“2021 MAMA” plans to showcase the event under the concept of “MAKE SOME NOISE”, which allows people to respect each other’s values without prejudice beyond the walls of the country, race and generation using the language of K-POP, as well as experience the power of music that unites the world.
In particular, “2021 MAMA”, which will be broadcast live around the world from 6 PM (KST) on Dec 11, drew keen attention by appointing Lee Hyo-ri, a representative artist who shares the history and present of K-POP, as the first female host in MAMA’s history.
