DAY6, the group with 3 members doing military service at the same time, performed a special stage on Armed Forces Day

DAY6 performed a stage although 3 out of 4 members are serving in the military at the same time.

KBS 2TV’s entertainment show “Immortal Songs”, which aired on October 1st, broadcast the “74th Anniversary of Armed Forces Dayspecial. Psy, Jung Sung-hwa, Jeong In, Jung Seon-ah, Aliee, Brave Girls, Jo Hwan-ji, Park Gun & Jung Hae-cheol & Lee Jin-bong, DAY6, LA POEM, VIVIZ, etc., appeared on this broadcast.

A stage performed by “active-duty soldier” singers was shown. Lee Chan-won introduced the stage, saying “Even at this moment, they are proud active-duty soldiers serving in the military, like Korean soldiers who devoted their youth to the peace of our country”. 

Shin Dong-yeop added, “A stage that can only be seen on ‘Immortal Songs’”, adding “Let’s meet DAY6 and musical actor Jo Hwan-ji”, drawing cheers.

Three members of the band DAY6 are currently doing military service at the same time. Private first class Kim Won-pil of the Navy, corporal Kang Young-hyun of KATUSA, and private first class Yoon Do-woon of the Army appeared on the stage together.

DAY6 showed up in front of the audience and performed “Time of Our Life”. The audience gave enthusiastic responses to DAY6 members who were singing in their respective military uniforms.

The three attracted attention by filling the stage with their live band performances. They also sang “In the Enlistment Train” and aroused cheers from South Korean soldiers.
