Department store franchise Shinsegae said that dating rumors between G-Dragon and their chairman’s granddaughter are untrue.
They also added, “We have made an official position to correct the wrong information as indiscriminate speculative reports continue beyond simple incidents.”
“After confirming with the affected party themselves, they went to watch the concert with several people (not just two), and took a photo as a fan (of G-Dragon) and posted it”, the official stated.
Previously on January 9th, Chinese media outlet Sina raised suspicions that G-Dragon went to a concert with the granddaughter of Shinsegae’s chairman, citing G-Dragon’s iconic smile tattoo as evidence.
On the other hand, G-Dragon previous released the single “Still Life” alongside other BIGBANG members in 2022. On January 1st, 2023, he announced that a new album is in the making through a YouTube video. It is known that the male idol is also discussing a solo contract with his current agency, YG Entertainment.
