On February 11th, Daesung uploaded a video titled, “Big Bang comeback?! When exactly?! I’ll tell you”, on his Youtube channel “D’splay”.
In the released video, Daesung used the editing style of SBS’s show “Story of the Day When Yout Bite Your Tail (꼬리에 꼬리를 무는 그날 이야기)” to briefly introduce Big Bang’s comeback news starting with mentioning Big Bang’s debut date. He then said, “If you know the answer, please leave a comment”.

In response, a netizen commented saying that March 13th might be Big Bang’s comeback date. This person explained, “3 and 8 are ring-shaped and are called the days of a ‘ring’ hanging on another ‘ring’”. Then, combining 1 and 3, we have 8. So the date is 3/13”. Surprised by the answer, Daesung then replied, “Wow”.
In addition, fans speculated that the title of the new song might be “리본 (Reborn)” based on the photo of a knot that T.O.P posted on his Instagram. Moreover, G-Dragon also had a ribbon tattoo and he recently used the “ribbon” emoticon on his Instagram. (*“Ribbon” sounds similar to “Reborn”).
