The season 2 production of Netflix’s popular series “Hellbound” and “All of Us Are Dead” is being discussed.
In the Q4 2021 Results Announcement which was released on Feb 11th, JContentree Corp cited the global box office success of OTT original contents including “Hellbound” and “All of Us Are Dead” as major achievements in the broadcasting sector in 2021. They then said they were discussing the season 2 production of “Hellbound” and “All of Us Are Dead“, raising viewers’ expectations.
JContentree is a corporation that holds 100% shares of Film Monster, the production company of Netflix’s popular series “Hellbound” and “All of Us Are Dead“. It is like welcome rain that the discussion on the season 2 production was officially mentioned to viewers who had high expectations about whether “Hellbound” and “All of Us Are Dead” would produce season 2.
Previously, “All of Us Are Dead” director Lee Jae-kyoo was asked about the season 2 production during an online interview with a group of reporters on Feb 7th. He replied, “I wish I could, but I think we’ll have to wait and see how it goes.” He added, “If the first season can be seen as having presented humanity’s survival, the next season can talk about the survival of zombies.”
“Hellbound” director Yeon Sang-ho said in a video interview with World Biz & Sports World in Dec 2021 that he will work on a new story of “Hellbound” as a cartoon and release it in the second half of next year.
When reporters asked if season 2 would be produced on Netflix, he answered, “There is no specific story, so we need to discuss it later.”
