Amidst the intense criticism directed at Angela Baby over rumors of her attending Lisa’s performance at Crazy Horse, the cabaret itself has taken steps to deny her presence
Lisa (BLACKPINK)’s performance at the Crazy Horse cabaret has sparked controversies. However, it’s not just Lisa; several artists who attended the show have faced intense criticism. Among them, actress Angela Baby, after images allegedly showing her at Crazy Horse emerged, got into a big trouble.
Recently, the Crazy Horse cabaret itself took steps to deny Angela Baby’s presence at the venue. Specifically, a post shared by the cabaret listed the artists in attendance with the caption: “Lisa’s performance was spectacular, but it’s regrettable that there are rumors that Angela Baby actually did not appear.”
Immediately, the Crazy Horse cabaret’s account, which has over 35,000 followers, commented: “so happy everyone enjoyed the show. We are looking forward to welcome Angelababy sometime!”
Before this, Angela Baby had faced implicit bans following intense mixed public opinions in China for attending Lisa’s performance at Crazy Horse. Viewers noticed that CCTV, a state-run Chinese television station, had deleted Angela Baby’s Mid-Autumn Festival Gala video.
Sources from Zhejiang TV revealed that “Keep Running” was postponed, and Angela Baby’s broadcast was under consideration for suspension after the controversy. Additionally, Zhang Jia Ni, a Chinese actress, was also requested to suspend her broadcasts for attending Lisa’s performance.
