It seems that LOONA Chuu already knew that she would be kicked out.
On Nov 25th, a video titled “Revealing Chuu’s remarks at the fan meeting ‘Chuu Can Do It’ without editing” was uploaded on a YouTube channel.
On Oct 20th, Chuu celebrated her birthday by having a great time with her fans.
Especially on this day, she showed nervousness, “I’ll talk about what’s going to happen in the future.”
She hesitated, “From now on, because of, well, some things that I can’t control, sometime near the end of the year, due to something, when some news articles drop… And it might be surprising, you might be taken aback. As I keep working hard…”
Chuu, who continued to speak amid fans’ support and consolation, caused regret as she became tearful, “I’m so, so thankful and I’ll keep working hard on my activities, so I hope you keep loving me.”
Meanwhile, on Nov 25th, the agency Blockberry Creative announced, “We decided to expel and remove Chuu from LOONA as of today.”
The agency said, “We recently conducted an investigation after receiving reports about abuse of power, including verbal abuse, by Chuu toward our staff members, and found out it was true.”
They added, “We would like to officially apologize to the staff who were seriously hurt by Chuu’s actions and promise to do our best to help them focus on recovery and treatment so that they can quickly return to their normal life.”
Chuu was rumored to leave LOONA once last June. Chuu did not even join LOONA’s recent world tour, which has been going on since August.
