BTS Jungkook’s TikTok hits 157 billion views, World Cup song “Dreamers” surpassed 1 billion views 

Jungkook recently surpassed 157 billion views on the short video platform TikTok with his unique personal hashtag “#jungkook”.

On November 25th, the hashtag “#jungkook” has exceeded 157 billion views on TikTok, a mere 2 days after the 156 billion view mark. 

Having attracted 1 billion views in just 2 days, “#jungkook” is evidence for the intense popularity of the BTS member.

In addition, with such an achievement, “#jungkook” has become the first and only global hashtag to reach such numbers, making him the top individual in terms of view count. In addition, Jungkook has demonstrated how he is the “TikTok King” on the platform, having ranked first in personal views for 27 months from August 2020.

Along with this, Jungkook‘s song for the World Cup, “Dreamers”, which was released on November 20th, has also emerged as a popular force on TikTok. In particular, the TikTok hashtag “#Dreamers” has exceeded 1 billion views, and videos with the hashtag have recorded millions of views, showing a remarkable trend.

As of November 26th, Tiktok hashtag “#jungkook” boasted a view count of 157.2 billion views. In addition, “#JK” recorded 52.6 billion views, “#jeonjungkook” 20.3 billion views, “#jungkookie” 3.6 billion views, and “#jungkookbts”. With these 5 hashtags alone, the total number of views has reached 236.9 billion.

On the other hand, Jungkook is the most searched Kpop idol for 5 consecutive years on the world’s largest search engine Google, as well as on YouTube worldwide. From 2018 to 2020, he was also most searched for on Pinterest in the US, the UK, and Canada, and on Tumblr. Finally, the BTS member was the most retweeted person in Korean Twitter in 2017 and 2018, ranked  No. 1 in the “World’s Most Retweeted Tweet” in 2019 and No. 2 in the following year.
