Jang Gyu-ri signed an exclusive contract with Just Entertainment and is preparing for a new start as an actress.

Jang Gyu-ri, who was a key member of the idol girl group fromis_9, has signed an exclusive contract with her new agency Just Entertainment. Jang Gyu-ri has revised her career from an idol to an actress and is preparing to engage in active acting activities in earnest.

Jang Gyu-ri, who debuted as a member of girl group fromis_9 through Mnet’s girl group survival project “Idol School” in 2017, has shown her potential as an actress by continuously challenging acting activities and appearing in tvN’s “It’s Okay To Not Be Okay” and tvN D web drama “An Introduction to Dating.”

Recently, she has been cast as Tae Cho-hee for SBS’ new Monday-Tuesday drama “Cheer Up” and is currently in the filming process.

Since she decided to pursue an acting career, she reportedly expressed her need for an agency with a lot of experience in actor activities and smooth communication in related areas to help her build her discography.

Just Entertainment, which Jang Gyu-ri signed with, was established in 2020 by experts with more than 10 years of experience in Korea’s leading management companies. This agency is currently working with well-known actors including Yoon Kye-sang, Kim Sang-ho, Gil Hae-yeon, Jung Woong-in, Park Ji-hwan, Kim Shin-rok, Kim Joo-ryeong, Oh Seung-hoon, and Seo Ji-hye.

On the morning of August 29th, Just Entertainment released Jang Gyu-ri’s greeting through its Instagram. “I’m going to be with Just Entertainment. I think I will have the chance to meet everyone in various ways as an actress in the future. Please take good care of me and look forward to my activities in the future,” she said, adding how she is currently filming a drama.
