This Kpop idol suddenly declared withdrawal after 4 years in a girl group, what’s next?

Jang Gyuri, a former member of the Kpop girl group fromis_9, recently revealed her situation

On August 18th, Spotify News reported that Jang Gyuri is starting anew as an actress.

According to reports, Jang Gyuri is planning to sign an exclusive contract with Just Entertainment.

After finishing her exclusive contract with her former agency, Jang Gyuri has been contemplating her next move, before settling with Just Entertainment, which manages various actors with solid skills like Yoon Kye Sang, Park Ji Hwan, Kim Sang Ho, Kim Do Yoon, Kim Shin Rok, Kim Joo Ryeong, Seo Hyun Woo, Oh Seung Hoon, Jeong Woong In, and Shin Dong Mi.

Expectations are high for Jang Gyuri’s performance as an actress, instead of an idol.

In addition, Jang Gyuri has confirmed her appearance in the SBS rom-com drama “Cheer Up” (written by Cha Hae Won and directed by Han Tae Seop), which is scheduled to air in the second half of 2022.

Back in late August, Jang Gyuri’s former agency announced her departure from fromis_9, saying: “Member Jang Gyuri will finish the promotions for fromis_9’s 5th mini album and end her contract early as of July 31st, starting a new journey.”
