Cha Tae-hyun complains at his youngest daughter’s phone call “You’re the only one from our family who calls me”

Actor Cha Tae-hyun is reminded of his two daughters when he encounters little girls during his time in Mongolia

On the Oct 6th broadcast of JTBC’s variety show “Express Delivery: Mongolia Edition”, Kim Jong-kook, Jang Hyuk, Cha Tae-hyun, Hong Kyung-min, Hong Kyung-in and Kang Hoon will conclude their week-long struggles in the wild and enter the Mongolian city of Khovd to enjoy a luxurious city life.

In the previous episode, Cha Tae-hyun moved viewers with his tearful reaction to a letter from his wife Choi Suk-eun. In this episode, Cha Tae-hyun is expected to show his affectionate fatherly side.

Upon entering the city, Kim Jong-kook, Jang Hyuk, Cha Tae-hyun, Hong Kyung-min, Hong Kyung-in and Kang Hoon embark on a quest to explore local delicacies to experience civilization’s flavors fully. However, when Cha Tae-hyun sees Mongolian children playing together by the side of the road, he suddenly stops as he thinks of his second daughter Tae-eun and youngest daughter Su-jin in Korea.

With a gaze filled with affection, Cha Tae-hyun watches the little Mongolian girls as if playing with his own daughters and flashes a contented smile as he naturally interacts with the children. Suddenly, the girls hand him hairpins, and Cha Tae-hyun gently arranges their hair, showcasing his side as a “father with experience raising two daughters”.

In addition to being a loving father, the humorous aspects of Cha Tae-hyun’s parenting skills are expected to bring laughter to viewers. Despite entering a city where phone reception is good only a week after leaving Korea, it turns out that only his youngest daughter Su-jin has been calling him.

Upon this discovery, Cha Tae-hyun tells Su-jin, “You’re the only one from our family who calls me.” He also shows hints of desperate unrequited love toward his eldest son Soo-chan and second daughter Tae-eun, who have been quiet and not in touch. “Express Delivery: Mongolia Edition” will air at 8:50 PM on Oct 6th.
