Super Shy

The music video for “Super Shy” reached 100 million views in 90 days after its release on July 7. It is the fastest NewJeans music video to surpass 100 million views. The time was greatly reduced compared to the 255 days of “Hype Boy” performance version music video and the 130 days of the “OMG” performance version music video, giving a glimpse of the spread of global popularity and rapid growth of NewJeans.

“Super Shy” is an impressive song with a unique sound based on jersey club rhythm and exciting beats, and the music video of the song attracts attention with an exotic video and a large flash mob performance with dynamic and cool walking movements.

Meanwhile, NewJeans was nominated for two categories: “Best Group” and “Best K-Pop” at the 2023 MTV Europe Music Awards, Europe’s largest music awards ceremony. NewJeans is the only K-pop girl group nominated for more than two awards at this year’s awards ceremony. Following the “Group of the Year” at the “2023 MTV Video Awards” last month, New Jeans being nominated at the “2023 MTV Europe Music Awards” has demonstrated its global status and influence.
