Cha Eun-woo’s first still from ‘Island’ unveiled… “A warm priestly suit fit → meaningful eyes”

Actor Cha Eun-woo will transform into an exorcist and captivate the home theater.

TVing’s new original series ‘Island’ (played by Oh Bo-hyun, directed by Bae Jong) released Cha Eun-woo‘s first still cut on the 7th. It predicted an unprecedented character transformation.

‘Island’ is a fantasy action drama. It depicts the journey of characters who are destined to fight against the evil that is trying to destroy the world.

ASTRO’s Cha Eun Woo will star as a young exorcist priest known as John. He was adopted abroad as soon as he was born. He was reborn as the youngest Guma priest under the call of God.

In the play, Yohan is dispatched to Jeju Island, considering it a calling from God. One day, facing the ‘day’ revealed in the prophecy, he is swept away by the whirlpool of fate.

In the still, Cha Eun-woo catches the eye with his warm priestly suit. Cha Eun-woo prepared for the ceremony by lighting candles. He also stared somewhere with meaningful eyes as if he were waiting for someone. 

The production team praised, “Cha Eun-woo surprised the on-site staff by expressing Yohan’s character freely.”

He then said, “It will be filled with Cha Eun-woo’s new charm, which has not been seen anywhere so far, so please pay a lot of attention.”

Meanwhile, ‘Island’ will be broadcast for the first time on TVing on the 30th. It will also be introduced in the global market through Amazon Prime Video.
