The vehicle of singer Nam Tae Hyun, who was caught for drunk driving, was captured on CCTV.
A CCTV installed at the scene showed that Nam Tae Hyun‘s white car stopped after moving about 5 meters, and the police were dispatched about 20 minutes later.
On March 8th, the Gangnam Police Station in Seoul revealed that Nam Tae Hyun broke the right side mirror of a passing taxi while opening his vehicle door on a road in Gangnam-gu, Seoul at around 3:20 am (KST) of the same day. He then got back into his car and continued to drive.
Nam Tae Hyun’s blood alcohol level, measured by the dispatched police, was 0.114%, which is at the level of license revocation. If charged for DUI (drinking under influence), this will add to Nam Tae Hyun’s endless list of controversies.
The police, who booked Nam Tae Hyun on charges of violating the Road Traffic Act, said they would soon summon the male artist to investigate the exact circumstances of the incident.
On the other hand, Nam Tae Hyun debuted as a member of YG boy group WINNER, but left the group in 2016. He then founded a music label and debuted the band South Club.
